Painting into the sunset

Matt and Jason let me know today they were moving on to another job and there were only a few bits and bobs left to do. I needed to get the ceiling done before the electrician could wrap up his work. And they’d leave me the scaffolding if it would help. I can’t tell you how fast I ran upstairs to put my painting clothes on and then I painted into the dark. I’m pretty sure my morning look will give me a good laugh, but that’s what first coats are for! I’m going to miss the morning arrivals of Ariel’s crew and the excitement of all the changes. We’ve still got a lot to do to return the house to a dust free organized state. But I’ve loved every minute of this renovation fun.
