City Mouse / Country Mouse

These are the pictures Chris and I shared with each this morning. But the twist is, this time Chris is in Maine without me and I'm living the big city life.

It always amuses me what I default to when I'm on my own. A pretty boring set of tried and true standards such as popcorn for dinner and home design shows. Which leads to an itch to do a little decorating which leads to a walk to TJ Maxx which leads to some podcast listening and then a burst of craftiness. Although I am reluctant to do too much to this apartment because of its short term situation, my solitude activities required a project so I am tackling the landing station mess by the door. I needed a piece of art, but my set of rules required it to be disposable. I call it "TJ Maxx Deconstructed." What do you think?
