Max and I drove up to Maine together today. Max probably thinks he is on vacation but I have a lot of photography work lined up for him. All readers of this blog know that I've never been bashful about my conniving ways when it comes to getting work out of my guests. Can I help it if I appreciate the talent and abilities of those around me? For most of the trip up, I had the company of Max's new dog, Benji, on my lap. Most dogs like to look out the window or nap, but Benji kept his eyes locked on Max at all times and was poised to leap into action if Max tried to escape.
