Oh Boy Its Been Awhile

A lot of life has happened over the last 6 weeks and I am sorry I have not shared my usual treks between Boston and Maine, gatherings, sunsets etc. I just got out of the habit. Though if I'm completely truthful, its probably because I've been a bit obsessed with my reselling "biz." Michael suggested that I post interesting things I find on the blog which has kind of inspired me to get back at it. So here's today's story. I was just about to leave goodwill when I saw this green box on the floor. It looked like a shoeshine box which I was not too excited about, but I opened it anyway to discover this vintage Coleman stove. They seem to sell between $50-$100. I think mine might be a little more special because someone made this custom wood carrying box for it and actually drew a picture of the stove on the side. I paid $6 for it. Oh also it looks like I could sell The Right Stuff matchbook for another $5. You just never know what you will discover.

But my story does not end there. Overloaded with bags, even though I keep telling myself to stick with small stuff (but would you pass up this stove? hell no!), I uber over to visit my mother. Who is arriving at the SAME TIME?! Max! Using all my (pathetic) charm, I was able to wheedle a ride home from him. And of course Max knew all about my stove so I got some good info from him. If you want to tap into secret knowledge about obscure stuff, Max is your man.
