Christmas traditions

I must confess I have a bit of a grinch like attitude in my lack of enthusiasm for decorating. The general layer of festive dressing across the house can make things feel a little chaotic. Which arguably I get might be the point. But since we’ve owned this house, Chris’s tradition has been to put a massive amount of Christmas lights on a tree far out in the back yard. You can see it in this picture just between the house and garage. It is both very silly and very wonderful and it makes me smile every year.
