Nature trail

My big plan for this weekend was to paint the front living room. Though I love painting, I don’t so much love the prep. And yes I know I know, it’s all about the prep. So the first two thirds of my Saturday I naturally avoided my project with a hike on the state park trail with chris, Mike, and cara.

The ice and snow meant nothing to us thanks to Mike outfitting all of us with yak traks for our boots. It’s hard to see in this picture but I like the barge moored here and think it would make a great live aboard. (We still need to find a boat people!) Oh and I did eventually get around to doing some prep—which, word to the wise, in small doses is not so bad.
