Weekend ways

It’s felt like a nice long quiet productive weekend despite plenty of social activity. Mike, Cara, Jessie, and Kyle came in for a Saturday visit with all of us. The only picture I took was on my way out because I noticed how cute the Mann’s looked in front of their blue house with the orange pumpkins.

Later that night Chris brought his work buddies over to top off Linda’s birthday party. This picture would have been a whole heck of a lot funnier if I had been able to snap in time to get the entire conga line going out the door. A few escaped before I was ready. 

Chris and I managed to get in a nice long walk. We had planned on taking boat out this weekend but between this and that it didn’t happen. I hope next year we get out more without it being a big production.

And then last night we had an impromptu dinner on the deck with our d dock friends. Somehow Chris managed to escape this picture.

And now I’m blogging while wrapping up some laundry because it’s back to work tomorrow!
