Best DAM Walk in Boston
Usually it’s Chris that gets teased for being a nerd, but I took the title today. I read about a guided walk around the Charles river locks and dams and said Sign Me Up! Because Chris is such a good sport he came along for the very cold, wet, 2-hour walk. We cross the locks every day and I was just curious to know more. There was a moment of excitement when a nearby duck boat became engulfed in smoke. Another duck boat (also full of people) came by a few minutes later to tow the first one away. Our locks tour guide got a little annoyed that our attention strayed.
And because it’s Saturday at the marina we went to a B dock party where Chris enjoyed the whiskey and boat winterization talk. He came back to the boat and tackled another project. I think he’s having a bit too much fun, don’t you?
Loved your day! Meanwhile, in your other house, I wrote quietly all day long, looking up now and then to catch the splashes from the ocean hitting the rocks. Poured a glass of wine at 5pm and read over my edits from the day. Then was driven over to Michael and Cara's for a delicious Cara dinner.
