Winner winner cookie dinner

It’s December 1st and the holiday celebrations have begun! This morning I went to my first ever cookie exchange party thrown by someone from atk. You can imagine the intimidation I felt having to bake cookies for this group. It was a bit of a challenge to find a recipe I could do considering my boat kitchen but it went ok. I, of course, forgot step 3 to toast the pecans. I always forget step 3 no matter the recipe! The party ended with a game to decorate gingerbread men while wearing oven mits. Can you believe it—Erin and I won!
