A different sort of day

We broke our hike streak with a drive to Ellsworth which you could say is a different sort of hike. We marched around the big box stores buying much needed house and party supplies and giving only our debit cards a workout. Not as fun as the nature walks, but we still had a good time. The day was punctuated with good news and not so great news. The cottage water pump is broken! Celia got a job! We can’t find the well! The plumber can fix it tomorrow! Today was a good reminder that life is full of ups and downs, you just have to ride the wave, it will all work out.
