Boxing Day

Such an exciting day with so much to share. Chris and I started the day with negotiations for New Year’s Eve planning. As usual, we got to a good place. Meaning I won (jk!). Then Cara was able to join us for our (now daily) hike. Mike let us graduate to the next level which started with the legend of Big Daddy’s Rock (pictured above).

Mike also wanted SlipD16 readers know he is on track with his 100 push-up a day challenge with Kevin.

But the real excitement was our trip to the Machias post office where we took care of a pressing tax bill AND I submitted my application to renew my expired passport. It was so pleasantly easy and efficient. I was riding high on this accomplishment for so long that we topped off the day with a sunset beach walk. Glorious!
