How I occupy myself
The constant house conversation over the last year has been should we renovate the tiny kitchen in the big Maine house. Funny how the house went from perfect to needing tons of renovations so quickly. But a few weeks ago I decided we should table the talks for a bit and I should make an actual effort at organization. Of course Jennifer is not here this weekend so I’m already at a disadvantage but I’ve tried to implement her lessons. Number 1 Remove everything. Number 2 throw half away. And that’s where things fall apart for me. Sure I make a get rid of pile but I’m always left with odd things like these racks pictured. I’ve never used them ... but will I someday?
It's a process! Keep those racks. Next year, when you empty the kitchen again, if you haven't used them, you throw them out. I'm fine with giving an item the benefit of the doubt...once! Haha.
ReplyDeleteHow about a compromise? Bury them in your backyard?!
