Learning new tricks
I'm finding during the day this crisis is a compelling situation we have to figure out. By night time, I start to feel fear and worry. But then day rolls around again and I'm back to a somewhat normal calm productive state. It helps to have a lot of work to do. I've been so impressed by all my co-workers who have been positive, communicative, collaborative, and supportive. All my former beliefs about remote working are really being shaken up. Because I manage so many teams, I get to see and participate in different iterations. What is consistent though seems to be daily check-ins for not only work, but for how everyone is doing. Today, the kitchen ops team invited me to a 15 minute lunch time stretch. It felt good to move a bit, but it felt really great to have a laugh with everyone.
Love this!
