Marital bliss

Chris arrived Monday night with a carful of dirty laundry. I greeted him with many boxes of furniture to assemble. We’ve got this marriage thing figured out — which is what you hope for in second marriages! Chris has set up shop in the front living room. I continue to work from the dining room. It’s been busy for both of us so we just see bits of each other through the day. But I’m so glad he’s here. I feel less like I’m playing house and more like I’m finally home.
