Another still life

So much of my life here in Maine takes place at this dining table. I work, we eat, I stage my next projects. This was the table I asked my first guest to bring down from the 3rd floor. And he almost became a permanent guest when it looked like he might get stuck behind it on the stairs. And now, like all furniture I own, it’s on its way out as a new ( to me ) set comes in . It’s my way, but still, a bit bittersweet.
