Getting my summer feet

It was a busy summer Friday at work and we had tons to do to get ourselves packed out of here tomorrow, but we threw it all to the wind for a last beach walk. It was like we landed in the Caribbean with turquoise colored water and families frolicking in the surf. Was it just last week we wore our down coats to the beach? I really can’t believe we’re leaving tomorrow, I feel like Maine has just started opening up to me and I’ve just begun to see and feel it. But my Boston life awaits me and I am bursting with so much to be grateful for.
