My kind of excitement

A few days ago this Etsy rug arrived from Turkey and I was beside myself with excitement. This rug was going to change everything! I had to wait all day before I could release it from its packaging (damn jobs!), and then the round rug pictured got hustled away and the new one moved in. I was happy for a day or so but then the self doubt crept in. I will never get this room to work, I’m a failure. Chris and Celia remind me daily that this process of trying (and trying again) is the fun. And it is! But it isn’t! I mean sometimes it is! I guess at the very least it’s an ongoing story for this blog...
