Not Maine

I listened to a podcast the other day about the wild boar problem in Japan that sounds very similar (but worse) to the deer issues in Maine. Then I saw these deer sculptures made out of jeans at Anthropologie. And today Celia sent me pictures of a chair she mended which brought me back to all my crazy furniture activities. A lot of little moments reminding me of our time in Maine. I wish I had documented the pandemic year with some intention because it feels like we’re rushing into the future where it’s all back to normal. But of course normal is a silly word and who knows what’s next. I should just start documenting the new normal now.
