Last half of Maine visit
I am wrapping up another visit in beautiful Roque Bluffs and shortly heading back to Boston. For this last bit of trip we were graced with a visit from Kiev and Gail. It is always nice to have visitors that love the place as much as you do. And even though Kiev can see right through me, I was able to manage a good amount of Tom Sawyering. I "casually" mention I need to clean out the dishwasher trap, next thing I know Kiev is lying on the floor sweeping out the gunk. A renter complains about a loose towel rack and a broken screen, and suddenly Kiev is making sure I do not lose a star rating. Some day maybe Kiev will guest post and tell you about wonders of cooking oil and home repairs.
Occasionally I let our guests be guests and we had a pretty amazing steamed lobster feast one night and lobster rolls the next. We never sit in our screen house, so it was nice to be reminded what a pleasure that is.
But before I let you go, another house mystery for all of you. A few mornings we woke up to this odd condensation pattern on our windows. Like a moose came up on the deck and peered in for awhile to see what's up.
