Migration time

Today was a fun Sunday of estate saling with Kevin. We didn't find much but that was probably because we didn't have Jennifer wheeling and dealing, passing out snacks, and figuring out the directions. Kevin and I coped as best we could and probably just as well I came home empty handed since our boat seems to get smaller by the minute. We also bookended our adventures by moving his boat from his summer slip on E dock to his winter slip on A dock before we left and then moving his mother-in-law's boat in the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day and though the boat trips lasted only a few minutes, I still got the usual rush I get from being out on the water. I also loved that though Kevin and I had a loose plan to handle the docking just between the two of us, people appeared at just the right moment to grab our lines. It is one of those things that is par for the course in marina life, but never gets old to me.
