Scenes from a Weekend

    Chris and I drove up to the Leslies for a quick weekend of fun. One of the first things we came upon was a tiny wedding in progress. I thought this was a business idea we could steal, setting up a beautiful setting for a special moment on Roque Bluffs beach. Don't worry everyone! I promise I am not going to be the person to commercialize our state park. But how sweet is this?!

I love seeing a place through local eyes and now that the Leslies have been in Portland for 2 years, they have begun to discover all the cool spots like this bottle bar. And though I am not drinking, I can still appreciate a beautifully designed space, a comfy couch, and the ability to hear your friends

But of the course the highlight for me was discussing paint colors with Cathy. I had to defer to Roger's expertise since I've become a White Dove only kind of person, but I just love the conversation of trying to figure it out. I also thought once we had the samples up on the wall, it looked like an art installation in its own right. I can't wait to see the transformation
