Snow Day

It's been a good boat week for me. On Monday night, Anne came over for a glass of wine. She hasn't seen the boat since before we moved in. I remember her look of what appeared to me as horror as she tried to digest what we had gotten ourselves into. But this week she was full of glee and happiness for us about how hygge our home was. Then yesterday was a snow day and I spent the day on the couch working away while the snow fell around us. It was comfortable, warm, and safe feeling. Chris kept vigilant about the snow removal from our wrap and finger dock and helped out some absent boat owners. We capped off our day with a potluck dinner with our neighbors. Its hard to believe that in a few short weeks the wrap will be coming off and we will be basking in the sun. I'm not sure it gets any better than this.
