Another busy vacation day

If I’m really being honest with you, living on a boat is all about getting to swim in the ocean frequently for me. But let me back up for a moment. Today started out with an unexpected sail for Chris back to Boston on Ron’s boat. My friend liadainn from childhood was going to meet me for lunch in Gloucester. It was a day with lots of moving parts. Around 5 I found myself alone on the boat wishing for a swim, but unsure about going into the water unattended. Then Cathy invited me for a glass of wine. Clearly the best way to get that glass of wine was to swim for it. Did I trust myself to cross between boats? This picture gives you some sense of the distance. With Cathy cheering me on, I went for it. And yes it was worth it.
