Dinghy Madness
It was a lovely day in Gloucester. A nice slow morning, a trip to the beach, a nap (because it’s impossible to resist the siren song of a rocking boat and cool breeze), drinks on Emily and Greg’s boat, and into town for dinner. When you’re at a mooring the only way to change location is to get in your dinghy. It was an all day festival of dinghy mishaps (ours and others). This is what I meant about boat life being simple AND complicated. A dinghy is the simplest of boats, moving location is a basic need, but when the motor doesn’t start or you can’t find a place to tie up, it’s complicated. You know what I mean?
I can completely relate. Was in bed this morning, made a plan in my head to get some breakfast, but my motor wouldn't start. I fell back asleep.
