Flower Power

We are a few months into our new Boston digs and I will say the view never gets old and neither does the supermarket downstairs. But there's not much to be done with my compulsion to change out furniture. So fresh flowers is how I get my fix these days. Because I've been trying to abide by my motto of what comes in must also go out, I've also been cautious about filling the place with vases and other accoutrements. I was a bit stuck on a vessel for these very tall gladiolus. My epiphany was to let the flowers lean against the window. It was such a satisfying moment of the simplest solution is the best solution. Yes, that's another piece of life wisdom for you.
