Punching it out

We got a lot done from our punchlist this weekend and also managed to have a lot of fun too (wild and crazy karaoke may or may not have happened). My favorite lifehack geeky moment was trying out this new $10 clothes folding tool. Chris wisely silently handed me my amazon box and did not question the sillyness of it. But I could not wait to get to the laundromat to try it out. We've been handling our laundry in a variety of ways from sending it out or doing it at the marina, but this made folding so fun I'd almost sign up to spending a couple hours at the laundromat every week. One of the podcasts I listened to recently made fun of everyone trying to lifehack everything and he proposed we all go for the slowhack. But I say you gotta do whatever keeps you curious even when it comes to something as mundane as laundry.

  1. Did I ever tell you about the time I almost bought a laundromat? Oh the bullets I've dodged...

  2. OMG, Kevin and I also considered a laundromat! I LOVE them! Have their ever been any sitcoms centered in a laundromat? There should be. BTW, love the lifehacks, Alice! Shoelaces must have been a lifehack at one point! And chairs! And toothbrushes!

    1. Speaking of laundromats, did you know the old laundromat in Narrowsburg has been converted into a restaurant called The Laundrette! People say it is good, and what a great view it must have of the Big Eddy.

  3. Alice, this is a good example of a post where video really would have been a great medium to show you implementing this life hack.
