City Clerk's Office

I know y'all like to hear about my Food Truck adventures, so here is the latest update. Today I went to get a "Business Certificate" which was not in any of the same places as where I went for the Board of Health stuff, the RMV, or the Hawker & Peddler's permit. Every step has been a new place, a new adventure. The City Clerk's office is actually in Government Center and must be where you go to get married because this Instagram wall was in there. The one thing that was the same though was the incredulous questions of You're trying to do what?! In the end I got the form with a nice big shiny sticker which was oddly satisfying. I was able to have a nice leisurely morning on the boat and was able to meet the woman who came to measure for our blinds. Now that the wrap is off, we are very exposed to our neighbors. She showed up for the appointment in high heels which meant for a long slow walk down the docks. She knew she was coming to a boat, but I guess you really never know what that means.
