Domesticated

It was a busy nesting weekend at Slip D16. I installed 3 50-foot strands of twinkly lights which we are using as overhead light. I'm tempted to go with a 4th strand because I finally got the hang of how to hang them. Lighting has been such a big struggle on the boat, but think I am getting pretty close to happy. We also mounted the tv on the wall and bought a wifi booster. And maybe most significant for me, I finally bought a separate computer so I can start untangling my personal and work digital life. I bought flowers at Haymarket on my walk home Friday night, got a new duvet cover on the bed, and we also had a bit of fun with friends. All in all, I think the boat is becoming more home than boat. Sort of weird to think we will be taking out in the harbor very soon.
