This picture is me and Celia on our way home from the 4th of July party at Cambridge Homes. Those wild folks at the assisted living place like to get a big head start on all the holidays. Celia is always agreeable whenever I ask her to join me on visit to grandma, and I really appreciate that. It's hard to say for sure, but I think Edith likes seeing Celia too. Celia's pink hair was a big hit. We offered Edith the opportunity to go pink as well, but she's going to think about it.
And speaking of pink, right now I'm sitting by myself on the aft deck watching the sun set. It's racing night at the marina so the sailboats are flying in around me. I am a bit beat. Spent the day with my kitchen ops team at an offsite trying to figure out how to change the world (I think we came up with some good ideas), the Reebok sale to get new sneakers for all my walking, the Edith visit, and now a bit of quiet.
