Open for business

It’s really easy to get very insular about life as you know it. I think that is why travel can be so eye opening and life changing. It was interesting to me that in Machias the French Cellar wine and cheese store had such limited non drinking type hours and that the extra curricular activities included scything ( by the way, sign me up!). So yes, some might say a 6 hour drive is not travel. But it’s another world, and I want to know more
