Peddocks island
This weekend we took our first trip to the much anticipated Peddocks island. We’re still not ready to take our boat out alone, so we were grateful for the invitation from Cathy and Bill. Even though they are sailboaters we learned so much about how to do an overnight trip and travel in the Boston harbor. They really have this life down. Peddocks is only 8 miles away but it is a secluded spot with an amazing skyline view perfectly positioned for sunsets. Three other boats from the marina met us there. We potlucked on the boat, dinghied to shore for a bonfire with the “burning block”, and finished off the social activities in the morning with pancakes on another boat.
Back in our slip today we are back to real life and our chores. Our big dream is getting this boat out on our own so all you guys can join in on the fun with us.
I love your life!
