Catch and release
This is another post about my walking commute. Since October I’ve walked in all sorts of weather that has astounded my coworkers, but it’s this heat that I’m finding the most challenging. Not so much because of the discomfort but because I arrive in my “business attire” a literal hot mess. I decided to try out the building showers this morning which turn out to be on par with the healthworks dressing room (that’s a high compliment!). I think this trick might actually get me back to morning yoga.
I’m also still trying to figure out how to improve the exercise quotient. Yesterday’s game was to try to catch up to and then pass walkers ahead of me. Today I thought about my overall time. I guess whatever it takes

We watched the fireworks last night in LA from T and Amara's condo. Amazing. They were shot off right over everyone's houses! The poor dogs. T's dog and cat were huddled up together in the corner of the kitchen. I wish I'd gotten a picture of them.
