It’s Saturday night

The heat wave broke yesterday and the evening skies have been glorious. It’s not that I’ve been questioning boat life in any way, but man you really get it on days like these. After a busy week, Chris and I were happy to have a lazy day with no plans. We did some chores, took naps, and let the day happen. At sunset we wandered over to a G dock party, then walked the docks. So much was going on all around us—one boat was getting towed in, another one asked us to help with lines. We never left the docks today—all the entertainment we needed was right here.
