Slowing Down Time

When Chris and I were hatching this crazy scheme of ours, some wise person (was that you Kevin?) told us that making big life changes had a way of changing how you perceived time. You would have new memory markers for "before and after" and time itself would feel like it slowed down. This has felt very true, but never more so than this weekend. We had our big boat adventure day on Friday, but the rest of the weekend was low key and mostly noneventful. Yet this Monday morning as we got ready for work, I felt like we've been away from "real" life forever.

  1. Or maybe Friday was real life and the rest is just like that dinner party scene from The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie.
