Early mornings

Chris and I have found that the long drive to and from Maine is best tolerated when you get an early start—like 5 am. I think it’s because you are less tempted to make a lot of stops along the way. Chris thinks its because you leave in the morning and arrive in the morning. Regardless it’s working for us. Today I was rewarded with a spectacular sunrise which literally made me leap out of bed and run from window to window to find the best view. The truth is though you can never really capture sunrises or sunsets on your phone camera.
