The Mann’s invited us along for their estate sale expedition today. No one loves vintage, thrift (call it what you will) shopping more than me. But I am a bit wary these days of bringing stuff home that just becomes clutter. And estate sales have the added emotional baggage of wondering what happened to the family? Why did they leave the soccer trophies behind? But all that aside it is still a fun pastime. We all got something that spoke to who we are: Chris got a brass 2 way hose splitter, Kevin got shoes, Jen got wrapping paper. And me? 2 measuring cups, a sharpening steel, and this old blender. The shape of the glass is just right according to atk equipment reviews. I’m planning to make a post dinner shake with raspberries I got from haymarket. I’ll let you know how it turns out..
