Last Dance

The last few days have been a bit of a slog of going through our stuff and trying to get the house renter ready. But I had one last trick up my sleeve before we leave which was to try to take these cheesy gold frame flower mirrors and turn them into art for my front living room. As everyone who has been around me lately knows, it's all about trying to make the yellow, flowered couch work. To be completely honest, I also needed to cover up the large hole in the wall. We're not sure why that hole is there and probably I should have had the contractor fix it, but I didn't. So here we are, on the final countdown to airbnb guests and a huge hole in the wall. Celia is my resident artist so it seemed fitting that I ask her to help on this project. She was willing and wonderful, but a bit skeptical about the output. I think it looks great though, don't you?
