Down the hatch

We are a couple weeks back into our life as liveaboards.  Even though we knew somewhat what to expect, there still have been some surprises. I think the biggest one for me is how crazy comfortable our bed is. Chris suggested we cut up the new mattress we had bought for the apartment to fit the berth size. This seemed like a tragic plan to me to cut up a perfectly good mattress, but I must give Chris credit that this was a very good idea. The other key thing to sleep happiness has been this hatch window over our head. No matter whether the weather is cold or hot, we have a nice breeze coming in at all times and it is a treat to wake up and know what the day is going to look like. I know you probably think it odd that I am showing you a rainy hatch day, but I like nature's patterns. So there you are.
