Dunked

 Although we are "boat" people, I have always wished to learn how to kayak. My lack of confidence in any sort of useful skills has prevented me from getting out there. Mike offered to give me a lesson early yesterday morning and it was as exhilarating as I thought it would be. You might be wondering why I'm sharing a picture of our field and not of me paddling through the pond. Well, I may have a lot to learn in life, but one thing I know for sure is do not bring your phone out on your first water trip no matter how much you want to take pictures. And yes, I took a hard plunge. But I can't wait to get out again.
