Hacking It

This picture of Sebastian, the marina manager, breaking up the ice a few years ago was posted to the liveaboard Facebook group this morning. It gave Chris and me a good chuckle as we walked up the dock at 7am on our ways to work. Yes, we've moved into our houseboat "just in time" for winter. Everyone asks us how we're going to handle the cold. Truthfully that question seems very beside the point to me. Everything about living on the boat is a challenge and an opportunity for a life hack. So many more interesting questions to mull over. Can 2 fiftysomethings make it? Let's find out.
