It's not the cold, it's the humidity...

Chris here with the indoor weather report. The boat should be wet on the outside, but dry on the inside.  So far, the ocean has pretty much stayed where it belongs.  But there are other ways water can be a problem.  Condensation as the weather gets colder, plus showers, etc. can increase humidity. It's not good for the boat, and it can lead to mildew.  So I'm very happy to be able to run our dehumidifier when needed.  I put fans in key places around the cabin to circulate the air. Today started with a rainy morning, and we cut the humidity down by 30%.
