Boston Iced Tea

The great October snowstorm postponed the Betty survey till next week, but Chris and I are using this weekend to begin move preparations As If everything will work out just fine. We are not kidding ourselves that moving off a boat will be any easier than any other move, so we are going through our stuff bit by bit to lighten our loads now as much as we can. This morning I braved our liquor cabinet which for every move I've ever done, has always surprised me how many weird bottles get accumulated. Pastis anyone? We also have an abundance of gin which I don't even drink (maybe that's why there's an abundance?). I've actually been on a non drinking kick of late, but the frugal in me is determined we get through all these bottles that just have a smidgen of whatever left. If these were preCovid times, I'd invite (well who am I kidding, Chris would do the inviting) all our friends over for some creative bartending from dregs.
