Scenes from the last day

The family that bought Betty is a young couple with 3 children who plan to take off in a few weeks for the Bahamas. Chris and I are in awe of their adventurous plans and hope that Betty takes good care of them. Jennifer was the best friend in the world yesterday helping us wheel countless loads up the dock. But she also lent her magic to the final clean and I swear Betty just glowed when we were done. And the cherry on top was a lovely snack break she put out for all of our helpers.

Moving certainly stirs up lots of feelings and I am one to spend countless hours second guessing myself. But we left Betty yesterday during a beautiful sunset with a lot of ease in my heart. Sometimes things just feel right and I am grateful for these moments.
