Fair weather boaters

Chris and I have landed back in Boston for a couple of weeks to hopefully buy our new boat and also because I have some office days coming up. We had every intention of accepting the kindness of our friends and staying on their empty boat for a bit. But somehow we’ve grown soft and have found ourselves in the warm and easy comfort of the nearby hotel. This picture is from our first night when the city shadows threw this pattern on our ceiling. I thought it was pretty spectacular but eventually we needed to close the curtains and let the darkness take over.
