Yesterday Chris moved our boat to the hinterlands of the winter marina, AKA E Dock. Jen & Kevin spent the summer here and I was a bit jealous of their view. So for a couple of days, we now get to enjoy it too. This is all in preparation of the Betty survey which happens today. First the surveyer will go through our boat at dock, then we will take the boat to another marina where a haul out happens and they look at the hull of the boat, and then we finish with a sea trial to see how the engines run. I say "we" but I'm using the work card today to get out this tension filled activity and leaving Chris to the wolves. At least it will be a beautiful warm day in Boston, so maybe Chris will enjoy the final boat ride. Maybe?
