Boat Breakfast

This morning we had plenty of food here but really nothing that was breakfast like. So even though it was too hot to bake, I decided to make a zucchini bread that I had to amend quite a bit to make work. I grated the zucchini with a microplane. I swapped sour cream for eggs, hazelnuts for walnuts, bread flour for all purpose, threw in some dried cherries and coconut. I have to say it turned out amazing. I love the challenge of using what I have. In other kitchen notes, I finally threw my milk pot out the window into the sea* and replaced it with a much more induction friendly pot that works every time I put it on the burner. My morning coffee sanity has returned.

*just kidding. I’m putting in marina office giveaway spot. But I would have much rather flung it with curses flying like the sailor that I am
