This porcupine has been using our front steps as his picnic table. He does not do his dishes after he's done—he leaves the steps with his half eaten bits and pieces. Normally I'd consider this behavior pretty rude, but Massachusets dweller that I am, I'm finding it pretty cute. I'm sure I will smarten up eventually. There is so much to learn living in a rural place. Not sure which is more daunting—the big house or nature. Amazing how changing your environment opens up so many new worlds.
