Reality TV Show Idea
Although I love how the house has been decorated, the dining room I think is a place I'd like to do my own thing. Its kinda crazy messy in this picture because I used the room as ground zero for all my various projects this week. One big wish I had was to move the table here up to the 3rd floor and move the table up there down here. In my head it was a simple unscrew the tops and move tables in 2 pieces. Easy peasy.
Last night my friend Julie and her family stayed over using our place as a half way stop from Nova Scotia. I mentioned my table switcheroo plans to Julie and before he knew what hit him, her husband Josh was enlisted in what I can only describe as the opposite of easy peasy. He was a good sport about it, but I started chuckling to myself when I started thinking of ways I could trick unsuspecting visitors to our vacation home into doing some laborious task for me. Wouldn't that make a great reality show idea? The hook would be I could never ask for the favor directly...

No matter how devious you get I can always one-up you in that department, as I proved yesterday by walking on the beach while my 80-year old mother-in-law painted my fence.
ReplyDeleteJosh and Julie will go down in family lore now. I don't know how he did it.
