Co-Housing

This morning I got a newsletter email from the co-housing community that Chris and I visited when we were in the midst of our broad swath searching of where to live next and existential crisis of "should we sell our condo?" The newsletter pointed to this recent NYTimes article. I was reminded of how much I liked the idea of community living, but I was really put off by the number of meetings we'd have to attend to make that happen. Plus what if you did not like the community you landed in? Marina living seems to be just the right amount. We are all in this crazy thing together which is very bonding, but you connect as much or as little as you want. With just an occasional email from the Office with information. It's all good.

  1. I'm loving how philosophical this blog is becoming.

    1. Philosophical sounds so much more elevated than rambling. You must be a writer!
