Turn Down Service
While Chris battles the frigid conditions at the boat, Celia and I have escaped to just mildly cold Dublin. I've always been a sucker for a nice hotel, but man, there is nothing like boat life to really make you appreciate the charms of lovely linens and sweet smelling soaps. Our first day was a pretty perfect Alice and Celia type day. Long walk to local yarn store, a hot yoga class down a dark alley, topped off with a fancy dinner at a french restaurant with pretty lighting. We returned to our hotel to find turn down service includes slippers laid out between our beds.
We went to a yarn store today too, on our way back from Bangor. But, for some reason, when we got home I was dismayed to discover that no one had laid out my slippers. Dang. I should have a valet by now, at least by osmosis, due to all the British television I watch with my lovely wife.
